We are a small private company and have limited resources. We only accept requests via this webpage. Phone calls or letters will NOT be answered.
Our review dates are: March 31, June 30, Sept 30 and Dec 31. Please allow at least a week after these dates for us to contact you. If your event date is sooner than our review date, you can still submit a form, but we cannot guarantee that we will look at it before our next scheduled review. We recommend that you submit your request as far in advance as possible. We reserve the right to withdraw this program at any time.
Eligibility
Your organization must have a charitable tax ID number.
We do not accept applications from charitable organizations in the following areas:
- Political action groups including groups supporting political candidates
- Religious groups, including schools or other learning institutions that have mandatory religious observance as part of their curriculum.
A charity can receive a donation under both of our programs but is only eligible for one donation under each program per calendar year. We reserve the right to turn down any application from a group whose prior activities are not those we would wish Airship Ventures to be associated with.
Donation Programs
We have two donation programs that your nonprofit can apply for. The first is our Matching Gift Program and the second is our Major Event Program.
Matching Gift Program
All eligible applicants can choose to take part in our Matching Gift Program. Under this program we will donate one ticket for each that you purchase up to a maximum of six tickets per charitable Tax ID per year. This is the fastest way for us to support your event. You can simply check the box on your application and one of our guest services representatives will call you to arrange your tickets.
Major Event Program
For events where a LIVE auction item is desired, where significant PR and awareness is anticipated, and where the ticket price to attend the event is $200 or greater per person, we will consider partnering with you to donate a major item such as a group of tickets or a charter. We only partner with a limited number of major organizations each year in this program and our founders and investors make the decision on which groups they would like to support.
